Q: What is the
Patient Portal?
A:
The Patient Portal is a secure online method of reviewing your
personal health information including appointments, referrals, and
your provider visit summary.
Q: Can I
communicate with my Health Care Provider through the Patient Portal?
A:
Not at this time, the Patient Portal is for Patient informational
purposes only.
Q: When will I
see the results of my lab work?
A:
If your Health Care Provider publishes lab results to the Patent
Portal your results will be displayed after the provider has
reviewed them.
Q: What do I do
if I have questions about my lab results?
A:
Please contact you Health Care Provider’s office with any questions
about your lab results.
Q: When will I
see my future appointments?
A:
Future appointments are usually displayed within 24 hours of making
the appointment.
Q: When will I
receive my appointment reminder?
A:
You should receive your e-mail appointment reminder from 3 – 10 days
prior to your next scheduled appointment. You will also continue to
receive a phone call reminder through our automated system.
Q: How much
information will I get in my appointment information posted on the
Patient Portal?
A:
Your appointment information will include the Date, Time, The
Provider, The Facility, and The Reason for the appointment.
Q: How much
information will I get in my referral appointment posted on the
Patient Portal?
A:
You will only see that you were referred to a certain specialty.
Date and time and location information will be communicated to you
via our referral specialist.
Q: How will time
sensitive medical information be displayed on the Patient Portal?
A:
Medically
time sensitive information will be communicated to you through phone
or mail.
Q: Who do I contact
with questions I may have about what is on my Patient Portal?
A:
Please contact your Health Care Provider’s office for any additional
questions about your health status.
Q: Why do I keep failing when
I try to Log In
A:
The password is case sensitive. Special attention may be required to
correctly enter it.
Q: How do I reset my
Password?
A: A password reset option is available on the log in page of the Patient Portal.
Q: What do I do if I
cannot remember my username for the Patient Portal?
A: You can retrieve your username by going to the Patient Portal section of the Boice Willis Internet page and clicking on the “Forgot your username?” Button.
