The Boice-Willis Immediate Care is staffed by full-time
Family Practice physicians, registered nurses, lab and x-ray technologists,
and trained front-office staff.
The Boice-Willis Immediate Care provides an
alternative to hospital emergency care for illnesses and injuries of a
nature which could normally be taken care of in a physician office setting.
All patients requesting treatment will be evaluated to
determine where appropriate treatment should best be obtained.
Patients who are experiencing the following symptoms
are strongly requested to seek emergency assistance in a hospital setting:
- Chest Pain
- Significant Shortness of Breath
- Cases of any type of Assault
- Loss of Consciousness
- Complications of Pregnancy at Any Stage
- Illnesses of Infants less than three (3) months
Patients who require follow-up care should immediately
contact their physician's office to schedule an appointment.
Upon request, the Boice-Willis Immediate Care staff
will be pleased to provide referral information to patients for ongoing
care.
