Preparing For & Participating in a Telehealth Visit with Your Healthcare Provider

Boice-Willis Clinic is dedicated to providing you access to the best healthcare available.  We are excited to introduce Televisit.  Televisit is a virtual visit that allows you to receive care from the comfort of your home, an alternative way to communicate with your provider. 

 

A growing number of Boice-Willis providers are expanding their services to include Televisits.  Staying compliant with the CDC and DHHS regulations, we are hoping this will bring the closeness back to providing our community with virtual communications for your healthcare needs.  We have three different ways to participate in a virtual visit with your provider: Doxy.me, BWC Patient Portal and the Healow APP. If you are interested in participating in a Telehealth Visit, call your provider to schedule.  Please know if you haven't been seen by a BWC provider in over a year or you need to register to become a patient, after scheduling your appointment please complete a Patient Registration Form.

Preparing For Your Telehealth Visit

 

As you prepare for your Televisit, please click the button below and electronically sign the consent form.  The purpose of this form is to obtain your consent to participate in a Telehealth consultation with your Boice-Willis Clinic provider.

Doxy.me Web Link on Smart Phone (no app required)

  • A reliable Internet Connection using Google Chrome (Download Here) or Mozilla Firefox (Download Here) browser program or Safari web browser (standard for Apple products). Please know Internet Explorer and Edge are not supported at this time. 

  • You will need to activate the use of your camera and microphone for your Televisit.

The Healow Smart Phone App​

  • For IPhones or IPads: Download the Healow App from the Apple App Store (Download Here)

  • For Android Phones or Samsung Tablets:  Download the Healow App from the Google Play App Store (Download Here)

  • If prompted, enter Practice Code: HGIHAA​

Patient Portal on Desktop or Laptop Computer

  • A reliable Internet Connection using Google Chrome (Download Here) or Mozilla Firefox (Download Here) browser program (Note: Internet Explorer and Edge are not supported at this time)

  • Access to Your Email 

  • A Built-In or Externally-Mounted

    • Web Camera

    • Microphone, and

    • Speaker

Participating in Your Telehealth Visit

Make sure you have completed all the steps in Preparing for Your Telehealth Visit

To Begin, Follow These Easy Steps, based on Your Telehealth Access Point:

If Using Doxy.me Link:
 

  • Click the link in the email or the text notification from your provider.​ 

        (https://boicewillis.doxy.me)

  • Enable camera and mic if asked to do so.

  • Be sure your volume is turned up.

If Using BWC Patient Portal:
 

  • Arrive early by logging in to your Patient Portal. 15 minutes prior to your scheduled Telehealth Visit. If you can’t access the Portal, you can also begin your appointment through the reminder link sent to your email.

  • Click “Join TeleVisit” in your patient dashboard (or email reminder).

  • Click “Proceed” to check your computer’s speed and ability to support a TeleVisit. 

  • Click “Start TeleVisit” to enter the virtual waiting room

  • Your physician will begin the face-to-face Televisit and disconnect when the visit ends.

If Using Healow App:
 

  • Arrive early by logging in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled Televisit.

  • Click "Appointments" on the wheel screen in the Healow App.

  • Click "Start Televisit" to enter the virtual waiting room.

  • Your provider will begin the face-to-face Televisit and disconnect when the visit ends.
